A Bit About Noor
Noor is a trilingual (Chaldean, Arabic, English) speaking Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with a Master’s of Arts degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Alliant International Univeristy. He has extensive experience working with children, adolescents, young adults, and families and has special interests and experience treating complex trauma, anxiety, depression, suicidality, self-harm, substance abuse, emotional dysregulation, and grief.
If you have have been feeling stuck and need someone to listen to you and help you navigate challenges in all areas of your life, Noor is here to support you. He will provide a safe space for you to process any important events that may have happened to you and will guide you to deal with stressful situations and emotions on your own. Community Research Foundation. As Program Director at Step Forward East, Noor directed staff and provided effective leadership. Noor ensured that program was operational to support individuals who are struggling with mental health issues that may affect their ability to move from welfare to work.
Community Research Foundation. As a trilingual mental health therapist at Crossroads Family Center, Noor helped children, adolescents, parents, and families that struggled with depression, anxiety, self-esteem, behavioral issues, parenting, family conflicts, trauma and grief. Noor took on leadership roles as a lead clinician and program coordinator in which he worked collaboratively with school staff, social services, and hospital referral specialists to coordinate care, supporting clinicians with consultation, and assisted in training new staff.
Noor completed his one year practicum with Community Research Foundation at Douglas Young Youth and Family Services. An outpatient mental health clinic servicing children, adolescents, and young adults with severe emotional disturbances, and their families.
